100 Scriptures to Relieve Stress
When you feel stressed, it is important to take a deep breath and recognize that you’re not alone. You have a Heavenly Father who loves you unconditionally, wants the best for you, and has committed to taking care of you.
Underneath most stress is some form of fear. Fear that things won’t work out, fear that people will reject us, fear that we will be found unworthy or unqualified. Sometimes we just need a reminder that God is with us.
If we can remove the fear, the stress will go with it. Therefore, many of these scriptures combat the fear that may be lurking underneath stress.
Fear tells you in many different ways that God doesn’t love you and won’t take care of you. It whispers to your subconscious that you’re in this all alone. That is a lie. You are never alone. There’s never a moment where God is not intimately involved in every detail of your life.
The Word of God is so powerful. God’s truth always brings peace with it.
Right now, take a deep breath and read these truths out loud over yourself. If one stands out to you, meditate on that one until you feel the love and peace of God drive out all stress.
